The regular maintenance of hardware at the distant end is essential to deliver network availability and resilience. With global networks this can be costly, as some of the equipment will be situated in remote, inaccessible locations - especially in the Middle East and Africa.
Datasat provides cost-effective maintenance services, with no compromises made on the quality of the service delivered. All maintenance work is carried out by Datasat trained personnel - we will not give the work to unqualified local support staff. Our field engineers are constantly travelling between sites so are always in a position to respond quickly to equipment issues. Our maintenance services include:
- Regular six monthly service visits in high risk areas, annual in low risk or non-critical applications
- Field engineers hold long term visas to allow timely response
- Engineers visit multiple sites in any country to minimise maintenance costs for individual customers
- All engineers are security cleared
- All engineers are trained by Datasat
- All engineers have been trained in local customs and culture
Should a fault arise and urgent maintenance be required, we will work with you to agree an achievable timescale based on the remoteness of the site requiring attention.
