The File Transfer System (FTS) from Datasat Communications provides perhaps the most effective means of transferring large amounts of business-critical data from one location to many remote sites. Capable of handling all types of data, the secure Managed File Transfer system has been optimised for the delivery of a wide range of audio and video formats including mpeg, avi, mov and DCI. This makes the system ideal for large multimedia applications – such as distance learning and international publishing – as well as the streaming of live events

Advanced features for Managed File Transfer

Using the FTS, files can be managed and scheduled from a central location. Files are distributed immediately when scheduled to multiple remote sites simultaneously. Sites can be grouped from file ordering and distribution purposes. Groups or individual sites can place 'production requests' for alternative versions of a file – important when dealing with files for cinema and entertainment outlets.

Designed initially for satellite distribution, the FTS is transfer channel agnostic allowing you to choose the best  solution for your business or geographic region.

An 'error free' file transfer service

The highest level of data integrity has been built into our FTS. It includes three levels of error detection and correction. In addition, the efficiency of transfer is enhanced through our unique lossless data acceleration technique.
