Key to the solution is the implementation of integrated VSAT, CCTV and SCADA systems at the remote locations. The SCADA system monitors activity and reports back to a central hub. Should a suspicious activity occur, the SCADA system sends an alert while the CCTV immediately starts to record and beam video images back to head office. In this way, bandwidth is conserved until required for video transmission to deliver the optimum performance at the keenest price.
