Achieving the optimum solution in terms of performance, reliability and price is the goal of our design office. The hardware we select is proven, tried and tested technology. An analysis of physical installation locations is allied to an understanding of the voice and data applications the network will host, and together provide the basis of our network design. Network Build 

Our installation teams have years of experience building VSAT communications solutions in the most remote and challenging of environments worldwide. Every site installed by Datasat is personally surveyed by one of our structural engineers. We work hard to understand the customs and culture of the countries we operate in to facilitate a smooth and timely build phase, and for major projects, we establish temporary in-country offices staffed by trained personnel.. All Datasat build operations are delivered to ISO9001:2000 standards.

Network Management 

Core to the Datasat service is our solely-owned Network Operations Centre. Located in the UK, our qualified engineers utilise our exclusively developed Network Management and Monitoring Systems for our customer networks. Our NOC allows central monitoring of all elements of your network – including network traffic, systems configuration and updating and remote IT and transmission equipment – to highlight issues early and, where necessary, take remedial action to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted service.

Network Maintenance 

The regular maintenance of hardware at the distant end is essential to deliver network availability and resilience. Datasat provides cost-effective maintenance services carried out by Datasat trained and vetted personnel. Our field engineers are constantly travelling between sites so can respond quickly to equipment issues. Should a problem arise, we work with you to agree an achievable timescale based on the remoteness of the location.
